Has very scarce original blue cloth dust jackets as well. Books are very good/near fine. Bindings tight and pages crisp. Corners sharp and spines straight. No writing or ownership markings. Volume I has a small tear to flyleaf bottom corner and side of half-title page. Dust jackets are very good with some light shelf wear/rubbing. Profusely illustrated throughout. Frontispieces with tissue guards intact in both volumes. A wonderful set of this classic history of the Bastille and the French Revolution. 976 total pages. Set measures 3” across on the shelf.
