Volume I has a full-page inscription signed by George Meredith on the first blank page, “To -- on her changes of names and state to what her friends trust and pray will be the better - George Meredith”. Books are very good; clean and sound bindings. Some chipping and wear at spine ends/board edges. Frontispiece and tissue guards intact in each volume. Approximately 450 total pages. Very scarce signed and inscribed copy of the poems of George Meredith.
